The Greater Holy Trinity Baptist Church is one of the oldest African American Baptist Churches in Atlantic City having been founded on February 28, 1929. In January 1994, Rev. James was installed to the leadership of the church and forged a new path for the ministry ofGreater Holy Trinity Baptist Church. Pastor James was later elevated to the office of Bishop in the Abundant Harvest Fellowship of Churches where renown author-teacher and preacher Bishop David G. Evans of the Bethany Baptist Church in Lindenwold is Prelate. Bishop James continues to lead the church reminiscent of the days of Rev. Dr. John Jasper Walters.Our focus is on prayer, worship, and God’s Word. Bishop James is an explosive preacher / teacher who is assisted by Pastor Rosetta L. Brown who is widely known for her teaching and preaching ability. New to the Greater Holy Trinity ministerial staff is Evangelist Yvonne Kyles & Rev. Edward Kyles, and Minister Carol Smith.
