TRINITY is one of the oldest African American Churches in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It was originally founded as Holy Trinity Baptist Church on February 28, 1929. In January 1994, Rev Herbert V. James was installed to the leadership of the church and forged a new path of ministry for the church. Pastor James was later elevated to the office of Bishop in the Abundant Harvest Fellowship of Churches where the internationally renown author-teacher and preacher Bishop David G. Evans is prelate.
 
Known only as TRINITY, our focus is on blessing the community through prayer, worship and God's Word. Bishop James is himself an explosive preacher, teacher and author. Bishop James is assisted by Pastor Rosetta L. Brown who is also known for her teaching and preaching ability. Evangelist Yvonne Kyles, Rev. Edward Kyles, Minister Carol Smith, and Rev. Dr. Gloria Gay are apart of the ministerial staff of TRINITY.

After Jesus rose from the grave, he showed himself to many. And Jesus said to his disciples, Behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the City of Jerusalem, until ye be ended with power from on high. And they worshipped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy AND WERE CONTINUALLY IN THE TEMPLE, PRAISING AND BLESSING GOD!


And the bible says, and when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place! And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them, And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Fifty days had gone by from Passover to Pentecost. Think about it. If the disciples had been any other place, in any other city, they would have missed the power of the Holy Ghost. Where are you? You have to be at the right place. This is your time! For the Prophet Joel says: "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sones and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit! That's you! Receive it!

A LITTLE ABOUT WHAT WE BELIEVE...


TRINITY is framed by the profession of God's Word as the rule and standard of faith and practice. We adopt as our creed the new Hampshire Confession of Faith. Furthermore, this ministry accepts the Scriptures of the Old and new Testament as the inspired record of God's revelatory actions in human history and as the authoritative basis for its doctrine and practice. The church accepts the scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all sufficient rule of faith and practice.
